Three Southeast agencies made their final presentations early last week for the estimated $2-million advertising account of Carrabba’s Italian Grill, headquartered in Tampa, Fla.
An official with the client confirmed that Fitzgerald & Co. in Atlanta; Gray, Kirk Vansant of Baltimore; and McKinney & Silver in Raleigh, N.C., made their pitches last Monday and Tuesday. A decision is expected “in the next couple of weeks,” according to the client.
There is no incumbent agency on the restaurant account.
Those final presentations came the same week as Carrabba’s parent company, Outback Steakhouse, placed its $35 million advertising account with TBWA Chiat/Day in New York.
