NEW YORK Tribal DDB Worldwide has promoted managing director Paul Gunning to general manager of the interactive shop’s Chicago office.

In his new post, Gunning assumes strategic and operational responsibility over the estimated 50-person outpost.

The spot had been vacant since the previous general manager Jim Lecinski became a senior vice president, group account director at Tribal DDB parent, Omnicom Group’s DDB, about a year ago. Up until this week, he had maintained oversight over the digital operation.
