TORRANCE, CALIF. – A marketing and advertising reshuffling at Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. here is nearing completion with the announcement of a number of new appointments last week.
Mike Reding, former assistant general manager of the Portland region, was named national advertising manager.
Reding replaces Jerry Perry, who was named national customer satisfaction and training manager at Lexus, the luxury division of Toyota.
Joe David, former sports merchandising manager, was appointed advertising manager for the Toyota Dealer Association.
David replaces Leo Parente, who earlier was named ad manager for trucks.
Brian Becker, formerly regional national regional marketing manager, was appointed national sports marketing manager, replacing David.
Don Cecconi, who had been advertising manager for trucks, was named to the post of sales promotion manager.
Dave Pelliccioni retains the position of national merchandising manager.
The moves follow the appointment several months ago of Bob Weldon to the position of vp/marketing.
