NEW YORK Bill Cella, former chairman of Interpublic’s Magna ad negotiating unit and current CEO of The Cella Group, has been elected to TiVo’s board of directors, the DVR company has confirmed.

With the addition of Cella, TiVo’s board now totals nine members, including eight outside directors. He joins another former top agency executive, Joe Uva, former head of OMD Worldwide and now CEO of Spanish-language network Univision. Uva has been on the TiVo board since 2004.
