Tinsley Advertising has successfully defended the $6 million account of the Florida Keys and Key West Tourism Development Council.

Nine Florida shops responded to the request for proposals. Finalists included Yesawich, Pepperdine & Brown, Orlando, Fla., and Miami’s Crispin Porter + Bogusky, which withdrew before oral presentations.

Harold Wheeler, marketing director of the Monroe County Development Council, said the Miami shop’s tourism campaign would be extended, but he is expecting a new look.

“Perhaps more aerial shots of the Keys and its make up,” Wheeler said.
