It may be June, but executives at Hammerquist & Saffel are thinking snow.





The Seattle agency recently picked up the account of Sims Sports, a Mill Creek, Wash.-based snowboard maker. The agency was selected for the estimated $1 million account after a review of several Seattle area shops. The agency will create ads for the client’s 1997-98 snowboarding season.





Hammerquist & Saffel has been charged with creating a campaign that positions Sims as a forerunner of the snowboarding movement, said Scot French, the agency’s director of client services.
