The spot for “the official card of the U.S. open” opens with testy tennis champ John McEnroe shouting at a customer service rep on the phone, “Why would I buy tennis lessons?” McEnroe’s dialogue with the agent explains that membership comes with Dispute Resolution so no explanation is needed, prompting McEnroe to make amends with an umpire he berated more than 20 years ago. It ends with McEnroe’s voiceover, “Less arguing, that’s why I’m a card member.”
