TBWA, 180 Land Creative Duties on Adidas

NEW YORK–The team of TBWA Worldwide and Amsterdam shop 180 have snared global creative duties on Adidas, an account with billings estimated at $80-100 million, sources said.

TBWA and 180, an Adidas roster shop, bested the team of roster shop Leagas Delaney and DDB Worldwide. Global media duties are handled by Carat.

In early December the two teams made presentations to client executives in Beaverton, Ore., where Adidas’ U.S. operation is based [Adweek, Dec. 10]. Then, a week before Christmas, TBWA and 180 executives met with Adidas executives in Germany, according to sources.
