MINNEAPOLIS – Dayton Hudson’s Target Stores here kicked off its nationwide holiday campaign over the weekend with a tribute to the 1946 movie classic It’s a Wonderful Life. Target is carrying the movie theme throughout several holiday gift items (including a six-piece Bedford Falls porcelain village), wrapping paper, ornaments and advertising. Target produced 19 TV spots scheduled to run through the end of the year. Chuck Ruhr Advertising/Minneapolis created the campaign.
