Victorinox Swiss Army has chosen Interpublic Group’s Mullen in Boston to handle its North American ad business following a review.
Client and agency produced much notable work during their 1997-2003 relationship.
Mullen’s mandate covers traditional and digital chores, as well as public relations. Mullen succeeds various shops on the assignment.
The brand spent about $2 million in measured media through the first three-quarters of 2009 after spending $7 million in all of last year, per Nielsen.
Mullen has gotten especially active on the new-business front of late. The agency’s office in Winston-Salem, N.C., added work from Krispy Kreme and Kumon last week. In addition, the shop was invited to pitch creative chores on Orbitz, an assignment it lost without a review six months ago.
