Swardlick Slings Sexy Spirits for Vokda Import

BOSTON Swardlick Marketing Group entices martini drinkers to ask for White Rock Distilleries’ Three Olives Vodka by name with a sexy $3 million national magazine and newspaper campaign.

Three print executions feature sexy models clad in black cocktail dresses posing inside martini glasses. The headline reads, “What’s in your martini?”

“Three Olives has been around for four years and it has been showing growth, so we thought it was time to support the brand on a national level,” said Paul Coulombe, chief executive officer of White Rock Distilleries in Lewiston, Maine. “I think the campaign will bring us to a new level of sales.”

The effort will roll in the July issues of Sports Illustrated, Fortune, Esquire, Golf Magazine, Golf Digest, Wine Spectator and Money and run through December. The campaign targets men, 25 to 54. The ads are also breaking in late June in USA Today.

“Whenever you see a martini glass, we wanted you to think Three Olives,” said David Swardlick, president of the Portland, Maine shop.

The English import is also available in cherry, vanilla and raspberry flavors. In addition to Three Olives Vodka, White Rock Distilleries also produces a variety of national brands including Cabana Boy Flavored Rums, Baja Rosa Cordials and Fire Water hot cinnamon schnapps and imports Bowmore Single Malt Scotch Whiskey and Quintessential Gin.
