The Weight Watchers Group franchise here has shifted its $7 million account to Sussman-Sikes & Associates in West Bloomfield, Mich. The account had been handled for the past 17 years by Stone, August, Baker & Co. in Troy, Mich.
The company, owned by Florene Mark, is the weight loss program’s single largest franchise, covering about 20 percent of all markets Weight Watchers serves, including the Ohio cities of Cleveland, Cincinnati and Toledo, plus Detroit, Pittsburgh, Boston, all of Rhode Island and Missouri, as well as Ontario, Canada.
Stone, August, Baker will continue to work for franchisees in Washington, D.C.,
