Sun Ads to Dominate Forbes.com

NEW YORK Sun Microsystems has signed on as the inaugural marketer to use the takeover ad format on Forbes.com.

The Palo Alto, Calif.-based tech giant will advertise on all windows, billboards and columns of the Web site for a four-hour period on Monday. This is the first-ever advertising buy of its kind on Forbes.com.

The takeover advertising, aimed at business decision makers, will promote Sun’s Network Computing launch, a Web event hosted by Sun chief executive Scott McNealy that will air via live streaming video on Feb. 10.
