Suissa Miller Gets In on Web Act

Suissa Miller has landed its first Internet client.
The L.A. agency won Entrepreneur Online’s estimated $15 million business after a review. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Entrepreneur magazine.
Other contenders included Ogilvy & Mather in Los Angeles, in New York, and Avenue A in Seattle, according to sources.
Suissa Miller will handle online and offline ad duties. Online work is expected to break in October, followed by traditional advertising, according to Susan Stone Russell, vice president of marketing at the Irvine, Calif., company. The balance of the effort has not been decided, she added.
“They really wowed us,” Russell said of Suissa Miller. “They best understood our objectives and had an understanding of our market. They’re down and dirty, think-on-your-feet kind of folks.”
Agency executives referred calls to the client.
The company provides online information about its hard-copy news and includes other content aimed at small business operators with less than 100 employees.
Coincidentally, Entrepreneur Online ( is located across the street from Suissa Miller client Home Base.
