BOSTON Lombardo’s, the landmark function facility in Randolph, Mass., has hired Strategis for advertising chores, according to George Irish, founder and president of the independent shop.
Celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2008, Lombardo’s employs professional event planners and a full-time staff of 125 to serve a variety of business, weddings social functions at the 50,000 square-foot facility. (Lombardo’s is know for its annual free Thanksgiving dinner to make the holiday less lonely for 1,000 South Shore residents carrying on a 36-year tradition.)
Strategis will craft print, broadcast, direct response and online advertising for Lombardo’s, as well as handle all media planning and buying. The budget was undisclosed.
The Stoughton, Mass., agency handles a mix of financial, healthcare, retail, consumer products, footwear and education clients. Its roster includes Dartmouth College, Curtain Factory Outlet Shops and Catania-Spagna.
