StoreBoard Media, an out-of-home media company that sells advertising on the security pedestals at the entrance of retail chains, has expanded its distribution through a partnership announced Tuesday (July 7) with Rite Aid Corp. The deal adds more than 4,800 Rite Aid stores in 31 states and the District of Columbia to StoreBoard’s existing network across more than 12,000 drugstore chains in 50 states, including CVS, Duane Reade, USA Drug, Kerr Drug and Snyder Drug.
By the end of the year, StoreBoard expects its network to cover 20,000 retailers, expanding beyond drugstore chains.
“With the addition of Rite Aid, StoreBoard Media can deliver over one billion impressions every four weeks at a cost per thousand of less than $2.000,” said Doug Leeds, CEO of StoreBoard.
Advertisers that have purchased inventory on StoreBoard’s network include Procter & Gamble, Cadbury, Coca Cola, Nestle, Kraft, Unilever, CBS Television, Wyeth, L’Oreal, Alberto Culver, Hershey’s, American Greeting and Schick.
