LOS ANGELES Discover Financial has confirmed hiring consultancy Select Resources International to oversee the review of creative chores on its ad account.

Catherine Bension, CEO of the Santa Monica, Calif.-based search consultancy, said that she would lead the creative review, and expects a decision by March.

Omnicom Group’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, is the six-year incumbent, but parted ways with the Riverwoods, Ill.-based client last week [Adweek Online, Nov. 10].

Discover and Goodby parted after the shop “decided to pursue another opportunity that posed a conflict to our business,” a client representative said.
