NEW YORK A new Aflac spot reminds consumers, “There’s only one Aflac,” but the insurance company can’t seem to accept the fact that there is only one spokesduck. Animal substitutes simply won’t do. The commercial is set in an office where an employee asks his boss if they have Aflac. The boss informs him the firm uses “something else,” gesturing towards a nearby goat that shakes its head, munches on paperwork and bleats “naaah” in answer to questions about coverage. Ultimately, the duck chases the goat out of the building. As annoying as that fowl can be, Aflac falls flat here without him.
