NEW YORK A new 30-second Pepsi-Cola TV spot created by Omnicom’s SpikeDDB will premiere on this Sunday’s Super Bowl broadcast.

In the spot, called “Diner,” a heartsick man (played by Kel Mitchell, star of the sitcom Keenan and Kel Show) has his faith in love restored by a sassy waitress and a Pepsi. Mo’Nique, the stand-up comedienne and star of UPN’s The Parkers, plays the waitress.

Spike Lee, chairman and chief creative officer of the New York agency, directed the ad.
