Source Marketing Opens an Office Out West

LOS ANGELES Source Marketing said it has opened an office in San Francisco.

The Westport, Conn.-based diversified marketing agency said the move is principally to service the Skyy Vodka account, which the shop has had as a client since last October. Skyy spent $6 million on advertising in 2004 and $8 million through November 2005, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

Agency CEO Derek Correia said that the San Francisco location also would be used for new business development.

Correia called San Francisco “the perfect anchor for our West Coast presence” in a statement.

The shop has also been expanding of late in terms of service offerings, having hired Sarah Stabile late last year to develop a public relations practice [Adweek Online, Nov. 29].

Stabile, 30, ran her own San Francisco-based boutique PR and event production company for the past five years. Prior to that, she was a PR manager at Levi Strauss.

Source, a unit of MDC Partners, is best known as a promotions and direct marketing agency working for clients such as America Online, Comcast, Pfizer, Staples and Walt Disney.
