NEW YORK Interpublic Group said Tim Sompolski has joined the holding company as executive vice president and chief human resources officer. At IPG, he reports to chief executive David Bell.
He succeeds Brian Brooks, IPG’s former chief human resources officer, who abruptly shifted to a consulting role in February.
Sompolski most recently had been with Altria Group, where he was the senior vice president of human resources and administration for six years until he left the company in January 2003.
