Sirkin Fills Global Post at Leo Burnett

CHICAGO Leo Burnett Worldwide has named Clive Sirkin group managing director, a new position overseeing the agency’s global business strategy and operating plan.

Sirkin, 40, who had been worldwide account head on the agency’s Kellogg’s business, will report to global chief executive officer Linda Wolf and work with worldwide chief creative officer Miguel Angel Furones on staffing and resources for the agency’s international accounts. He will also have oversight over Burnett’s Canadian operations, and will continue to run the Kellogg’s account.

“Clive will ensure the agency is appropriately focused against a unified multinational strategy and operating model at every level of the organization,” said Wolf in a statement. “Clive is a dynamic, results-driven leader with extensive global management experience. This is a fitting role for him.”

Burnett’s global accounts include Kellogg’s, Procter & Gamble, Altria Group’s Philip Morris units and McDonald’s Corp.
