NEW YORK — Sirius Satellite Radio has shifted its estimated $100 million advertising account from Goodby Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco to McCann-Erickson in New York after the latter agency recently presented creative ideas to the client.

For the past year, Sirius has been working with MRM Partners, a division of McCann-Erickson WorldGroup in New York on direct response advertising and relationship marketing, opening the door for a presentation by McCann-Erickson.

MRM will continue to handle direct marketing duties, its WorldGroup sibling Momentum will work on event marketing and Weber Shandwick in New York and Los Angeles will handle PR.
