LOS ANGELES-TDA Advertising & Design has parlayed work for the U.S. unit of Sigma Sports into an international assignment.
As agency of record, the Longmont, Colo., shop will create trade and consumer print ads for the European markets for the Neustadt, Germany-based maker of cycling computers. TDA also has been charged with creating a new corporate logo as well as product brochures and packaging.
Combined billings for the U.S. and international accounts are estimated at $1.2 million.
“We were very impressed with TDA’s creativity and with how well they know our market,” said Sigma Sport president Michael Lenhardt. The agency has the understanding of Sigma’s dealers and consumers, he said.
An agency review included TDA and three German shops. Sigma had a 10-year relationship with a German graphic design firm.
TDA’s client roster includes Cannondale bicycles, Giro helmets and Swix Sport snowboard wax.
Sigma Sport USA, a separate and independent company, retained TDA about six months ago, shortly after it entered the U.S. market.
