S.F. Showdown in Veritas Media Finals

SAN FRANCISCO Veritas Software has named three finalists in the review for its $20 million media account, confirmed Select Resources International.

Making the cut are Interpublic Group’s Universal McCann, Grey Global Group’s MediaCom and Aegis Group’s Carat, all in San Francisco, according to SRI in West Hollywood, Calif.

Neither the client nor the agencies could be reached for comment. Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in San Francisco previously handled the account. The agency declined to participate in the review, sources said.

The Mountain View, Calif.-based technology data storage company has been in negotiations to hand the creative portion of its account to Godfrey Q & Partners, an independent shop in San Francisco.
