Foote, Cone & Belding Seattle has hired its second general manager in less than a year.

Kass Sells joins FCB Aug. 15 after three years away from agency life. A former president of now-defunct golf instruction company Bogart Golf, Sells takes over for Carole Kitchell, who has led the office since Chris Lloyd left for DDB in May after seven months as GM. Kitchell remains director of new business.

Sells, 39, aims to raise the profile of the 35-person agency, which lost the $70 million Boeing account to FCB Chicago in November and subsequently laid off 30 staffers.
