Secret Weapon Scores With Activision

LOS ANGELES Videogame maker Activision has awarded the TV creative portion of its estimated $20 million account to Secret Weapon Marketing, sources said.

The independent shop in Santa Monica, Calif., edged out crosstown rival Colby & Partners and independent davidandgoliath in Los Angeles for the win.

This is the second client for Secret Weapon, which also works with Jack in the Box Restaurants. The agency declined to comment and referred calls to Activision representatives, who could not immediately be reached.

Dentsu’s Colby had worked with the Santa Monica-based client since January, when the account was transitioned from the now-defunct Los Angeles office of Publicis Groupe’s D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles.
