Seattle Utility Splits Account LOS ANGELES-Washington Energy Services Co., the consumer products subsidiary of Puget Sound Energy, has unbundled its estimated $2-3 million account, previously handled by Elgin DDB in Seattle.

The business has been shifted to a team of creative, media, direct marketing and Internet specialists in the Seattle area. The move was prompted by the arrival of advertising and marketing manager David Kissinger to the Seattle-based public utility. “This way is more cost-effective,” he said.
The client hired Copacino Creative to craft an image campaign, LaserDirect to support with direct marketing, WebWorks to create the company’s first Web site, Terrance Campbell
& Associates to serve as marketing consultant, and Western International Media to plan and execute the broadcast buy. -Angela Dawson
