CHICAGO – Sears, Roebuck & Co. will name a new agency this week to handle its $35-million apparel line. All three finalists pitched late last week, and a decision will most likely be made during a marketing meeting in Phoenix on Monday. Although Young & Rubicam/N.Y. had been the early favorite, sources say both Wells Rich Greene BDDP/N.Y. and Hal Riney & Partners/S.F. came up with strong final presentations last week. The decision is expected to be close. Ogilvy & Mather/Chicago is the incumbent.
