Scott Howell & Co. Forms New Unit

Seeking a niche beyond politics, political-ad agency Scott Howell & Co., here, has formed a separate general shop called The Wolf Agency. Scott Howell, who last year created ads for Republican Senate candidates Jim Talent of Missouri, Norm Coleman of Minnesota and Saxby Chambliss of Georgia, will work as a consultant for Wolf, which will share staff with Scott Howell & Co. “The Wolf Agency gives clients political expertise but won’t take on any political work,” he said.

Rapp collins Wins camping world

DALLAS Rapp Collins Worldwide has picked up Camping World’s integrated marketing duties. Billings, which include the company’s catalog ads, were estimated at $10 million. The Omnicom shop in Irving, Texas, won the business without a review. The Bowling Green, Ky., client, which sells recreational-vehicle products and services, had handled its catalog work in-house. Direct mail is done by Gish, Sherwood & Friends, which will still handle project work.
