Grupo Cuatro Publicidad Wins Buchanan’s
DALLAS–Grupo Cuatro Publicidad has picked up the Spanish-language account of Buchanan’s Scotch Whisky.
The Dallas-based agency, an affiliate of Berry-Brown Advertising, won the account following a formal review conducted by Schieffelin & Somerset, the brand’s U.S. importer.
The assignment will include advertising, promotions and public relations for the whisky label established in 1884. Annual billings were not disclosed.
“We are extremely pleased to be able to work for Buchanan’s Scotch Whisky, because it gives us the opportunity to use the talents of everyone at Grupo Cuatro,” said Maribel Larranaga, the agency’s managing partner.
In a statement, Buchanan’s brand manager Emma Medina said Grupo Cuatro was selected for its demonstrated ability to build brands.
Other food and beverage clients on Grupo Cuatro’s roster include Gatorade, Quaker Instant Oatmeal, Aunt Jemima pancake mix and syrups, and Cap’n Crunch cereal.
New York-based Schieffelin & Somerset is also the importer of Johnnie Walker and J&B scotch whiskies. K
