Erwin-Penland has promoted Cory Schearer to associate creative director. In his new assignment at the Greenville, S.C., shop, Schearer will primarily work on the BMW, Firehouse Subs, Michelin and Wachovia accounts. He previously served as creative supervisor. Jeanna Hayes has been named senior designer on the BMW and Verizon Wireless accounts. Prior to joining the agency, Hayes was a graphic designer at Converse College. Matt Mantooth and Mayana Morris have joined as graphic designers on the Verizon Wireless brand.
