At BBH NY, the ratio of planners to creatives in top management is now 4:0 after the agency hired Sarah Watson as chief strategy officer, a new role.

The former head of planning at DDB in London is expected to assume her new role in mid to late July and will oversee 19 planners. Katie Harrison, who is currently running BBH N.Y.’s planning department, remains head of strategy. The Publicis Groupe-backed agency’s top management is highly populated by planners; the agency’s CEO, Greg Andersen was recruited to establish engagement planning from Lowe where he was head of both account planning and communications.
