Cathy Saidiner, the former president of McCann Erickson L.A., has been named to the new position of president of digital agency Blitz, where she will lead client services and oversee brand strategy and delivery.
The Santa Monica independent, founded in 2001, works for clients like Microsoft, VIZIO, Adobe, Naked, FX and Honda.
Saidiner joins Blitz’s co-founders agency CEO Ivan Todorov and CCO Ken Martin in senior management. She resigned earlier this spring from McCann, an agency she joined in late 2008 from TBWA\Chiat\Day where she was the global account director on Pioneer Electronics.
