Following a tentative agreement to use union talent in ads, the joint boards of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists last Monday approved a new contract with the Association of National Advertisers and the American Association of Advertising Agencies. The current contract expires Oct. 29. The new contract, if approved by the unions’ membership, will run through 2006 and includes fee increases ranging from 5-7 percent for actors in TV and radio ads.
