Sable’s Role at Wunderman Goes Global

BOSTON Wunderman vice chairman Dave Sable has been named president of Wunderman’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the company said.

“David and I have been working closely together since we started the rebirth of Wunderman more than three years ago,” said Daniel Morel, chairman and CEO of WPP Group-owned Wunderman, in a statement. “His extensive experience covers every part of the marketing spectrum—direct marketing, general advertising, public relations and entrepreneur.”

Sable, who notes the region was “leaderless” prior to his appointment, will manage client relationships and provide strategic counsel to Wunderman’s global clients. EMEA, the direct marketing agency’s largest region, operates 39 offices in 27 countries.

Prior to his new role, Sable focused on operations at Wunderman’s headquarters in New York. He reports to Morel and will be based in London.

“David is an experienced, results-oriented marketing leader with a strong track record of delivering the right services, people and ideas within and across regions,” said Ann Fudge, chairman and CEO of Young & Rubicam Brands, in a statement. “His ability to collaborate with all of Young & Rubicam Brands will strengthen and grow relationships with shared client-partners.”

Sable began at Wunderman in 2000 as head of the New York office. Prior to Wunderman, he was executive vice president and director of account management at WPP’s Young & Rubicam in New York.

Wunderman’s client list includes AT&T, Ford and Microsoft.
