BEVERLY HILLS, CALIF. – Savoy Pictures named Saatchi & Saatchi/Torrance, Calif. and N.Y. to handle its ad account, expected to reach $20-30 million after the new studio begins to market films later this year. Saatchi, a newcomer to the studio world, won out over finalist DMB&B/L.A., which has an entertainment group in place. Saatchi’s secrete weapon was new business specialist Alpha Tate, whom the agency had hired earlier to help pitch entertainment accounts. She has strong ties to the industry, having worked at Grey on Warner Bros.
