NEW YORK The emotionally charged trial in New York State Supreme Court between Rosie O’Donnell and her former publisher Gruner + Jahr USA Publishing ended this morning with Judge Ira Gammerman calling the plaintiff G+J’s lawsuit “ill conceived.”

Only nominal damages, if any, are expected to be awarded to either side, and Gammerman will rule on who will pay attorney fees and liability as early as today.

“Leaving aside attorney fees, we’re dealing with bragging rights of who wins and who loses,” said Gammerman.
