room and board

Eversave.com, an e-marketing company specializing in Internet promotions technology, wasn’t idly boasting when it issued a press release trumpeting the latest additions to its board of directors as “members of Boston’s marketing elite.”

The new recruits are: Jack Connors, co-founder and chairman of Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos; Skip Pile, chairman of industry consulting firm Pile and Co.; and John Brodeur, head of public relations firm Brodeur Worldwide.

“This show of support by top marketing communications executives demonstrates how important e-marketing has become in a company’s communications strategy,” said Jere Doyle, founder of Eversave, Woburn, Mass., which offers an array of services, including digital coupons and e-mail promotions. “Effective e-marketing coupled with traditional communications strategies is imperative in today’s economy.”

Despite the strong and diverse opinions of the three executives, they apparently share Doyle’s enthusiasm for e-marketing.
