Continuing a hiring spree, digital agency Rokkan has tapped Zach Newcomb as the agency’s first executive account director.
The 55-person agency has added roughly 15 employees in the past couple months, CEO John Noe said, with Newcomb representing the most senior hire.
Newcomb, who started on Jan. 9, oversees the agency’s account management and business development team. He reports directly to Rokkan CEO John Noe.
Noe said Newcomb would dedicate his time to growing relationships with long-term clients as well as leading new business initiatives.
“Most of the relationships we have [with clients] are AOR or multi-year retainer relationships,” Noe said. “So it’s more than just doing a project and going away; it’s thinking about what are we going to do for this brand next year and the year after.” JetBlue and Stolichnaya Vodka are among the brands that named Rokkan their digital AOR last year.
