Rives Fails To Add More KFC Business In The Southwest

LOS ANGELES-Houston agency Rives Carlberg fell short in a review of Southwest regional ad duties for Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Winning the account was dGWB in Irvine, Calif., after a review against Rives and Lavidge Hiegel Baumayr in Scottsdale, Ariz., according to Pryce Boeye, KFC’s West Coast field marketing leader.
The new assignments include local marketing, media and account services for the Arizona and New Mexico regions of the Louisville, Ky.-based client.
Billings for the added work are about $2-3 million, according to industry estimates. The incumbent on the business was Cramer-Krasselt in Phoenix.
