CHICAGO – Hal Riney & Partners/Chicago won the $10-million Matrix Essentials professional hair care business after a creative shootout with New York shop Deutsch/Dworin. Riney won both the creative and media portions of the business. Kirschenbaum & Bond/N.Y. was the incumbent on creative, while SFM Media had handled media.
