R/GA Lands Web Duties for Ameristar Casinos

NEW YORK — R/GA has landed interactive duties for Ameristar Casinos, a Las Vegas-based owner and operator of six hotel-casinos.

The New York-based interactive agency won the account following a three-month review that included bids from such shops as OgilvyInteractive, Digitas and Grey Interactive, according to Ameristar vp of marketing Paul Eagleton. The budget is undisclosed.

As a part of the assignment, R/GA, a part of Interpublic Group, will redesign the Web site ( http://www.ameristarcasinos.com/ ) and develop online marketing initiatives focused on creating customer loyalty.
