Retailer Enlists Bromley for Hispanic Account

DALLAS Circuit City has tapped Publicis Groupe’s Bromley Communica-
tions as its first Hispanic agency, according to sources. Estimated billings are $15 million.

The San Antonio-based shop contended in the finals against independent The Vidal Partnership and Grey Global Group’s Wing Latino, both in New York, sources said.

Search consultant Hasan Ramusevic of Hasan + Co. in Raleigh, N.C., oversaw the review.

Interpublic Group’s Foote Cone & Belding in Chicago is the consumer electronics retailer’s lead creative agency.

Richmond, Va.-based Circuit City spent nearly $250 million on advertising in 2002 and $110 million in the first three quarters of 2003, per TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.

A Bromley representative declined comment. The client could not immediately be reached.
