Durham, N.C., independent The Republik said last week that it has picked up the $2 million-plus consumer and b-to-b account of Consolidated Shoe Co. The shop beat four other finalists for the creative and media work: the incumbent, LeTween Marketing Group in Santa Monica, Calif.; jennings & Co. in Chapel Hill, N.C.; and two Lynchburg, Va., shops, Prototype Advertising and Webb Graphics, all independents. Trade ads for the shoe marketer are set for February; consumer work is due in June.
