Relay Hires Perez for Hispanic Efforts

Relay Sponsorship and Event Marketing has named Alberto Perez director of Relay Hispanic. Perez, a 12-year veteran of the industry, will oversee all of the Chicago-based shop’s Hispanic marketing initiatives for clients such as the U.S. Army, Sara Lee and Coca-Cola. He also will work on new-business development in the Hispanic market. Prior to joining Relay, Perez worked with IEG as vice president of its valuation service, calculating the market values of sponsorship packages. He also has worked for CFA, which produces concerts, festivals and sporting events, and founded the conference and events division for Working Woman and Working Mother magazines.
