BOSTON Regan Communications is one of three local public-relations agencies adding notable accounts in recent weeks.

Polar Beverages has hired Boston-based Regan for a three-month publicity and advertising push for the local launch of dnL, a new soft drink from the makers of Dr Pepper/7 Up. The shop will undertake PR, special events and advertising efforts in conjunction with several Boston radio stations. The target demographics for the caffeine and fruit-blended drink are teenagers and young adults.
