ATLANTA–Granite Services, a division of General Electric Power Systems, has retained Rawle-Murdy Associates in Charleston, S.C., as its first agency of record.

Annual billings for the account were not disclosed.

Granite Services is a contract labor provider, offering a full complement of workforce talents, including payroll and benefit management, human resources organization and employee recruiting, among other provisions.

According to agency vice president Bruce Murdy, the client has been providing its management services within General Electric, but now wants to offer its know-how to other corporations as well.

‘Because of that they needed some serious strategic planning and guidance, which is our strength and focus,’ Murdy said.
