BOSTON Rapp Collins Worldwide has promoted James F. Lyons to president of its New York office.

Lyons, 37, will report to Malcolm Speed, chairman and chief executive officer of RCW, and will be responsible for all aspects of the office’s client programs and growth. He replaces Robert Solomon, who served as president for one year. Solomon left the company to return to his solo consulting practice, Solomon Strategic, and to pursue his writing career.

“During the past two years at Optima, Jim Lyons created a collaborative environment that has delivered a successful service-value model for clients,” said Speed.
