ATLANTA The Ramey Agency is breaking a new print ad for Viking ranges in the June issues of House & Garden, Wine Spectator, Bon Appetit and Gourmet.

The Ridgeland, Miss., shop’s effort promotes Viking’s new designer line. The ad is inspired by the Eames House, an example of classic post-war American architecture designed by Charles Eames in Palisades, Calif.

The headline, “Chefs Drool. Architects Swoon,” plays to upscale consumers’ attraction to stylish appliances. According to the agency, Viking’s designer line offers an edgy look for the traditional kitchen and an alternative to the restaurant style of the company’s professional series.
